Patterns

Intricate patterns are our niche at Charles/Brown. We custom-size the patterns and use premium wood to create a luxurious detail that sets your space’s design apart from the rest. We craft all the classic patterns like Versailles, Bordeaux, Chateau etc., and will also assist in designing a unique pattern for clients looking for a one-of-a-kind floor. For a more rustic look our team of craftsmen can hand scrap any job giving it a rich, old-world appearance.

Herringbone

A timeless pattern we can craft with any custom specs; species, length, width, bevel, and angles. Herringbone and chevrons take a traditional plank floor and give it a subtle dash of style than can be eye-catching without distracting from the rest of the décor.

Plank

For those clients desiring the more classic wide plank look, we can help you too. Our custom plank floors are carefully crafting selecting the finest material out of inventory. We then can add small details like a micro bevel or a hand scraping to turn your plank floor into a conversation piece.

Species

We can help determine what the right type of wood for each client’s application is. White Oak, Red Oak, Walnut, Hickory, Texas Mesquite, Cherry, and many other exotics have been used for our floors through the years.
